Start of the moab recap!
I got into moab around 6ish and after settling into camp, we all got antsy and decided that cliffhanger would be a good way to start the trip. Last time I did this trail I was on 35s with a 2” lift. How linked on 37s…. It didn’t seem to be much easier. Some spots have gotten super chewed up and it’s just gotten bigger. We didn’t hit the last obstacle because the 2nd to last one was a weird technical rocky section that one friend in a long travel 1st gen Tacoma broke a cv on, a 100 series on 37s smashed his front bumper so hard that it bent the quarter panel, and a 2nd gen Tacoma on 37s with no front locker took a couple tries to get up. By the time we were all up, it was dark, and we decided that we were all tired and hungry. Soooooo on the way back home I took a bad line and smashed my gas tank! I was kind of blown away, after 6 years of wheeling 80 I finally dented it in
. The two climbs out took a bit to get everybody up, I think two cars had to winch???? Idk I was hungry and tired… we had tacos that night
