Nice pics guys. Tony, I cant tell by the pictures - are you running the 37's now?

Yall just need to stop spending time under the trucks :hillbilly:

John and Oscar looked to be having a great time. It is true that they weren't as equipped as they should have been and the trail was more than they were ready for, but were having fun and that is what it is all about! We were all new at this once and ether someone helped us or we learned by blood, $$$ and tears.:hillbilly:

As I heard the story: It was Grandpa's Christmas gift to 16yr old grandson, to take him out and they would experience wheeling together, said it was the best gift ever! Pretty  IMHO.

I expect they will be back out on the trail again and a lot wiser for the experience. I admire the fact that they were not afraid to give it a try. :steer:
I have 3 grandsons and one granddaughter. The oldest will be driving in about 10 years. I hope to be introducing them all to four wheeling when they get a little bigger.

We helped back the vehicle to a "more level" ground and block the tires. The sidewall (the little bit there) blew out

somewhere between these two pics, Kevin says to Oscar (the junior): "not talking s*** anymore now, are you ?" "no"

It ended up that "we" changed their tire and the Grandfather got away without providing contact information because he offered a place to stay "if we are ever in San Diego". Melissa and I go there often for fun! :D

Kevin got an e-mail from Grandpa today, so not entirely without contact info . . . :hhmm:

Grandpa made the prudent decision to approach people who at least looked like they knew what the hell they are doing :hillbilly:

you forgot the :bounce: smiley

I'm sorry that some felt the New River range wasn't worth the effort. I guess I'm partial to the area, having cut my teeth wheeling there.

I would like us to consider an FR-41 run from I-17 to Cave Creek in the spring. The north side of that range is bursting with wild flowers and life after the spring rains.

It's a solid 4 hours, more if frequent stops are included. At the end we can have have dinner and  in Cave Creek at El Encanto.

An optional side-trek up the boulder crawl and over to Hell's Canyon for "capable rigs" only!

the FR37 trail was on our list of alternates if we had been declined on the climb . . .
