Personally, I love the idea of dropping the 40 series body on the FJ...this isn't a project I could take on, but it's an awesome concept!

Maybe it's just my untrained eye but I have a hard time seeing this as a 25k vehicle.

That said the work could be fantastic and the solutions ingenious making it worth every penny. Definitely an interesting concept, just not for me.

He says he'll trade for guns. I have a 1911 colt 45 built on top of a new Wal Mart 22 barrel. It doesn't fire yet but with just a bit more work it could be awesome. Maybe I'll see if he'll trade.

is fjc chassis and drivetrain an upgrade???? this may be why no ones tried it. this would look ALOT better with steelies and a 43 softop and possibly then warrant $20k+.
