cheapest roof rack is to make a J-moose style rack.

cheapest rear bumper would be a DIY kit from Luke.

Now a front bumper you may get lucky finding a used one for a good price.... there seems to be more of them floating on the used market so the prices can be much better than a used rear or roof rack.

Feeler BJ74

Looking like the BJ74 will go on the block soon. Don't want to do it, but some foul up between me and my financial adviser have resulted in a significant "oh s***" moment when looking at taxes. Given my work schedule, it will probably be a couple of weeks before I have it prettied up for the general MUD population / fleabay. If anyone in ONSC is interested, please PM me ...

Kills me to do it as it is probably one of the nicest ones in the states, but it has to go .... pics etc in the thread in my sig ...
Although I have nothing to gain from the sell of this Cruiser, as the previous owner I can attest to the overall condition.
If you're in the market for an outstanding version of a 74 Series with numerous (expensive) accessories this is your Cruiser.

1972 FJ40 Rock Crawler

$4500.00
This has a 2F motor that has been repainted. I am not sure if that indicates a rebuild or not. a saginaw power steering conversion, and SOA. It appears to have DANA front and rear axles. It comes with a late model hardtop that is in great condition. The fiberglass roof panel also in great condition, lift gate and split doors on the rear. The rear wheel wells have been hacked BUT new rear quarters and rocker panels for each side are included in the sale. The front fenders are onsite. The left is ...iffy. The right is okay. It has had a roll cage added. It is NOT running at this time. The winch is not included. It was being rewired when the owner passed away. I am helping the parents sell this rig. And no I am not getting a dime. Someone tried to rip them off and I'm just helping out. They make the decisions. All interested parties contact me and I will arrange a time to view the 40.

That under the hood pic on the passenger side sure does look like a 2F with an HEI conversion rather than a V8.

I'll get a photo with the hood up. Thanks for looking. Someone needs to move this from their yard. I don't know the truck other than what the parents have told me.

When i spoke to the last guy that was trying to help out the this family it sounded like a vortec v6 and downey conversion kit.

Guess his solid standing offer didnt come through... that or the appraiser they hired gave some wonky number.

The family said they they were offered $5000.00 for:
2 FJ40's
1-991/92 Toyota 4x4 pickup
2- duallys pickups in pieces
and ALL the contents of 2 medium sized storage buildings and a large shop with all its contents/tools
plus 2 trailers and everything in the yard.......

NO it was not a "solid" offer. 1 of the LC's sold for $8000.00

Bits and pieces of Toyota parts and wads of GMC parts

The Toyota parts will all be posted here. The GMC stuff will be on Craigslist. 2-SB 350's leave this am / $250.00 each

If you guys need something specific send me a PM w/photo or a link to an image. This is something that will take time to sort through. Thanks

Looking for a unicorn here.....but any heavy duty front and rear bumper for an 80 series. Also looking for a roof rack that would work with a RTT.

Or I can just buy the kits and someone can weld them for me. ;)

You can get stuff welded pretty cheap at the community college there's a guy I do SAR with who's a student there that said a lot of times its free I'm going to have them weld on some fuel can carriers on my roof rack.

Also cleaning out the garage.
I have a bunch of miscellaneous 80 series parts just taking up space. I can list up a more detailed list after I inventory them all but off the top of my head I have;
- Oak Tailgate carpet with backing board and fasteners
- A canabilized wiring harness that I cut a few plugs and wires off of to use factory factory switches for accessories
- Oak interior door handles
- A couple interior door lights (lenses & housings)
- Tail light guards
- Full length Baja Rack with add on light bar bracket
If any one is interested...
