Sold my daily driver, now on the lookout for a newer one. Anyone got a lead on a chevyII nova? (64-67) Body style doesn't matter, actually kinda prefer a 4 door or wagon, but could be talked into a coupe, if it was right. Need something I can drive right away, but not perfect.

Here's the kind I'm looking for:

My old school Chevy 6 ltrV8 got better gas mileage than my 4ltr toyota I6

There is a white 40 for sale on 123 in Easley - more towards the Greenville side and on the south side of 123. I think the wheels are blocked (e brake probably doesn't work) and it doesn't have a top. Also near the Truck Farm.

how much??

2500 lb car that came with a cast iron I6 and 2 speed transmission. Figure if I can put a 5 speed in there, and maybe a tbi, I should be able to get mid to high 20's which is what I'd get out of any decent newer car. Plus there's the option of throwing in an ecotec to push over 30 and have some style! :grinpimp:

Just swap the whole drivetrain from an S10 with the Vortec 4.3 in and get mid 20's and still be able to haul A$$.

Jeremy

If you want a chevy 6 do the I6 from the new trailblazers or even the I5 from the colorados gobs more power than the 4.3 and better mpg to boot

or just buy a trailblazer or a colorado.

or put a turbo diesel 4 banger in any given vehicle that weighs less than 5000lbs and get 20+mpg!

BACK UP FOR SALE

I have a set of rear lift springs for a FJ Cruiser. They have approximately 50,000 miles on them. I had no issues with them and replaced them because I put too much weight on my rig and needed stiffer springs.

I thought they were OME medium 895s - but now it seems they were custom springs put on by the PO that have about an extra half wrap in them for 7 total (see pic below). When sat beside my brand new heavy springs they were taller. They flexed very well.

Here is a pic of them on the left beside a pair of new OME heavies on the right.

$50 pick-up or local delivery.

I'm going to leave them on the UC board for about a week before I list them elsewhere.

Anyone want a hot tub. I have a Hot Springs Vanguard. Heater has a lifetime warranty and the shell has another 4 or 5 years of warranty. It's been used very little. It's in great shape. It uses about $12 a month in electricity.

1k and it's yours. I paid $6700 for it 6 years ago.

My neighbor might be interested. Is this the large one so it will hold 4 adults without having to spoon on top of each other. Does it need anything to hookup? Or just a slab and electricity?

Thanks,
Jeremy
