never heard of him but i elect you the official guinea pig!! Let us know how it goes!!

Kevin already has a sweet front bumper (TJM i think)

a rear bumper with spare swing out/gas can carrier would be sweet.

Are you looking to add a brush guard style bumper to your 80?

I think you mentioned wanting to lift in the future. If you lift before you add bumpers factor that into your lift. You don't want to lose 1/2 and inch or more in sag because you got a standard lift instead of a heavy lift and now those heavy bumpers are making your 80 ride like a 40 and squat like a tired 60

Lol. Yes I have a TJM bumper but don't really like it. I would rather have an ARB and I would also like a rear swing out for tire and can. I'm thinking bumpers before a lift for your exact reasons. I'm going to give Him a call and see what he does. I'll let y'all know what I find out.

a buddy in ATL has 75-80 Felpro head gasket sets in the box (not sure what exact pieces) he wants $60 each for them... I am going to pick up a few next week.... let me know if anyone wants one.

I'm offering up my 3rd row seats out of my 1994 80 series land cruiser. Make me an offer or will trade for something that strikes my eye. Let me know what ya got or how much your willing to offer. I just want them out of the way.
The leather has no marks or faults send me a pm if ya want them

Thanks

Kevin

Mayday mayday mayday....Bob are you parting out a 60 or 62?? I have a broken front shock mount, the top one. Discovered it today once I got home and was getting the part numbers off the shocks. Once I get a hold of Marshall I'm goin to try and weld it and fix it, but I'd like to get one that hasn't been broken. So if anyone is parting out a 60 or may have an extra one laying around let me know, it is the drivers side. Thanks, Chuck

Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend. Chuck I charge $634.59 an hr. Maybe I can just hold the welder out on the curb and you can do a drive by.

Didnt you wheel it with a broken motor mount for years?
Why the sudden urge to do things right :D

if you dont have any luck locally might give Darin at canuckscruisers a call, hes got a few 60 series in various stages.

Actually Bob has come to the rescue....he has a 60 he is parting out so I'll be headed down there sat to take it off...if anyone wants to tag along for the ride let me know....it wouldn't be so bad but I'm getting new shocks this weekend so I need something to mount it too...tying it to the frame just isn't going to work....yes the motor mount was broken for a while but I have overturned a new leaf since then.

I'm proud of you.

It was a very odd scene when Chuck came by yesterday and wanted me to listen to a noise he was hearing. I think the kids have changed him.

$1000.00 OBO Located in Simpsonville SC

I have a 63 Allstate, which is basically a renamed vespa sold in the U.S. by Sears. It was my sisters and she gave it to me when she moved to the U.K., it has surface rust but it is complete. A light sanding and a fresh coat of paint is all the body needs. It is a 2 cycle motor and will need to be serviced because it has been sitting for at least 5 years. It ran and was a blast to ride when we parked it but I doubt I will ever get around to restoring it so its up for sale. I dont have to sell it so pleas no low ball offers.

Thanks

Kevin

SOLD IT

WTB Fuel filler neck from FJ40 body

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have an old tub sitting around that I could chop a fuel filler neck from? Beggars can't be choosers, so old or new would work for me.

Shoot me an email if you can help.

Cheers,

Jim

sweet! Money for a rear bumper!!

Not quite, the vin was so pitted I had to let it go for half the price because I lost the title so it sold for parts. But it's defiantly going to the rear bumper or the RHT bill to get her running smooth.
