never heard of him but i elect you the official guinea pig!! Let us know how it goes!!
Mayday mayday mayday....Bob are you parting out a 60 or 62?? I have a broken front shock mount, the top one. Discovered it today once I got home and was getting the part numbers off the shocks. Once I get a hold of Marshall I'm goin to try and weld it and fix it, but I'd like to get one that hasn't been broken. So if anyone is parting out a 60 or may have an extra one laying around let me know, it is the drivers side. Thanks, Chuck
Actually Bob has come to the rescue....he has a 60 he is parting out so I'll be headed down there sat to take it off...if anyone wants to tag along for the ride let me know....it wouldn't be so bad but I'm getting new shocks this weekend so I need something to mount it too...tying it to the frame just isn't going to work....yes the motor mount was broken for a while but I have overturned a new leaf since then.

I have a 63 Allstate, which is basically a renamed vespa sold in the U.S. by Sears. It was my sisters and she gave it to me when she moved to the U.K., it has surface rust but it is complete. A light sanding and a fresh coat of paint is all the body needs. It is a 2 cycle motor and will need to be serviced because it has been sitting for at least 5 years. It ran and was a blast to ride when we parked it but I doubt I will ever get around to restoring it so its up for sale. I dont have to sell it so pleas no low ball offers.
Thanks
Kevin
