David--did you sell the 80? I told you to just rebuild the head for like $300 I parts and you'd be good to go.

I think I jumped the gun. As much as I don't want to mess with the headgasket, I do want to do a Colorado trip this summer. I think I'm going to hold onto the roof rack/awing and OBA for a while longer. The OME medium is still for sale.
I'm heading down a major simplification mode--we are moving to D.C. this summer and probably all my Cruiser s**t and much of my shop stuff will go before then. I'll probably reoffer the above parts in the summer when I'm selling the 80, unless I give up on it before then.
Oh yeah, have a fun race car for sale after February race.
I'm guessing that means Ashley was accepted for the dream lawyer position that she was hoping for...

Congratulations, or condolences. I'm not sure which applies. Having been to the east coast myself I can't decide. In any case you will be missed.
I lived for 3 years in Hampton, VA, near Norfolk and Virginia Beach. While I enjoy NM more, there is a lot of neat stuff to do in the mid-Atlantic coast. There is so much Revolutionary and Civil War history that it would take years to see it all. Although, I can't say I'm envious of moving to the DC area.

that's a long commute, I hope I don't get that desparate.
A transfer is my first preference, we'll see. Everyone sounds like it should be a no brainer, but I think reality is a little different.
We'll try to see you all sometime before we leave. I still have a tie-down of Beowulfs and Pappy's fishing tackle from Baja last year--that's how long since we've been around!
How about you keep the strap and drop off that awning? I am hoping to convince Pappy to do an October Baja trip this year and that awning was awesome last trip!
