If a deal with jstncase does not work out, $250 sounds good for Long field inner axles and birfileds, I needed the long spline anyway for the elocker. It is a deal if you can wait till after the new year.

...and I was just preaching on my build thread how I need to be less of a sucker to scope creep :rolleyes:
 
I'll let you know. Scope creep? It is fundamental to who we are as Cruiser Heads: embrace it! Without scope creep, Jon would have a carb, Barry would have a new coat of paint on a petrol 40 and I would have bought a trailer instead of a Ram. It's who we are.

I feel extra guilty because I manage engineering projects for a living. If allowed half the shenanigans of my 40 project at work, I would've been canned long ago.
 
I guess the scope of a 40 project should go something like this: Fix FJ40. Everything should fall under that umbrella, LOL!!
 
Does anybody have a set of 60 series knuckles they want to sell?

I have two Danish teak bookcases to sell. However, they are packed in storage and I cannot photograph them until I start to move. And I already had a huge garage sell before moving out of Corrales to the Nob Hill area. However, I do have a 2F carb for sell - free to a good home, and two brake boosters (one FJ40 (early 73) that needs repair and one 4runner (mid-90s) from the upull. Both also free.

Fixed gear shwinn world sport, chromoly frame, flip flop hub, alex rims, f&r v brakes. Filthy dirty, tubes are slimed. $100

1961 Women's 26" racer. All original except tubes, I think the tires are og. 2 speed rear hub, v brakes, headlamp. Dirty and sun faded, she left it outside. Good easy resto project. $75

I don't want to sell this one, but here it is. 1960 men's 26" spitfire, all original except tires and tubes. Coaster brake. Saddle is coming apart underneath, never bothered me. Some scratches and dings on fenders, has a nice patina. $200

Will consider trading for a top end boy's bmx (redline, hoffman etc)

Looking for PS2 games for girls, ie. no violence blood/gore, shoot 'em ups, racing cars, etc.. Let me know what you have. I need to find ways to sequester the annoying ones in the basement when they come over. Girls are noisy!
 
2 third members with open diffs from my 69 FJ40, this would be a good way to lower your axel gearing on a later model. IIRC these have 4.10. $200 obo.
