I remember when I was a kid and my grandma walked up to my dad holding a chicken. He grabbed it by the head and my grandma let go. He then spun that thing around until the body flew off. The chicken then promptly got up and chased me across the yard before it collapsed. He then said “what are you waiting for, give your grandma that chicken”. I trust that you would know! IIRC I paid ~$57, albeit quite awhile ago. At the time I though I would do dual batteries, but my opinion on that has since changed.

Starting a new thread on this instead of tacking on this info in the other threads. I'm planning on using a 3FE exhaust on a 2F and retaining the 2F intake. @LAMBCRUSHER has led the way with this mod. Material on the underside of the 2F intake interferes with fitment and alignment of bolt...

Cleaning out:
1. Full cover for FJ40- $35 see photos. Was purchased from CCOT. There is a repair about where the radio antenna is where fabric was lapped and sewn, and another on top, which was repaired by non matching fabric. Both professionally done. Cover not properly fitting this example in front due to the grill guard which Grant will recognize.
2,. Full set of skids from 2017 GX460. These may fit 4Runner as well, especially the fuel tank skid. However the others may not fit as the rear engine mount on the 460 is not positioned the same as the 4Runner.--$free.00
3. Full set of the 2017 GX460 4 factory floor mats, does not include the rear cargo area matt. Excellent condition. $free.00
4. Rear cargo area cover and net from 2017 GX460, also excellent. $free.00

All for pickup in Placitas.

1. Cargo barrier. Made to fit FJ60. DOM .120 ' wall tubing with a tube splice on one leg. Not to be used as a roll bar. Was designed to bolt through the floor, with horizontal braces to the rear wheel wells. Horizontal braces not included as they were repurposed. GONE
2. Diff drop for 2017 GX460, new in box. Dobinsons PN DD59-527K. $55.00
3. AC evaporator and condenser from 40 series LC. Includes compressor (Sanden I think) , but I do not have any compressor mount. $free.00 I never tried to use any of these, so condition is unknown. Gone
4. Snow chains purchased to fit 33" x 9.50" BFG all terrain. Very little wear as these were on my plow truck for 2 seasons, and never left my property in NY, but they were used for one Christmas tree run in the Jemez. See photo of box label. $75.00 Gone, pending test fit.

Any chance you have a spare gear reduction starter that would fit an '83 FJ60 2F laying around? Dad needs one and is willing to rebuild it if necessary but can't just take the one off his vehicle because it's his only vehicle and he doesn't want to be without wheels for days or longer.

Marc, no gear reduction starters, but I have one marked as a Bosch reman #SR105X. I have a tag on it indicating it is from a 1984 FJ60, probably from a parts vehicle. It looks good, but I don't think I have ever seen it operate. I tried to find the application for the Bosch #, but I think the number has been reassigned, possibly to a VW vehicle.

I can send photos if needed.

This has a 1” bore. Tried it on my 40 series for 2-3 days, but the larger piston increased required pedal force too much. $30.00
