Price - sorry - no flames needed

Pasted the text from my craigslist ad, so the price was in the subject on that one. I am asking $23K, but expect to get $21K.

Different people have different opinions of what mint is. That being said if you find one adveritised as "mint" be sure to get plenty of pics and do a thorough inspection. As far as leads theres always the classified section of this forum, the guys posting there usually are all cruiserheads and wont do you wrong. There's also Ebay, classified sections on SOR, MAF, JTO, and Cruizers.com. If money isn't a factor in your quest for a mint cruiser there's always TLC and CCOT.

Good Luck-

Thanks, jjbodean. It is a good truck and I am not in a rush. :)

mint

I have one that is "mint" in my eyes........ but I would listen to PAFJ, he is right:cool:

Interested in a 78 CJ5 as a trade? Is it all surface rust or is any of the body rusted through?

And I might ad if you're seriously considering one in the higher end of the price spectrum, contact me offline or by pm. I would sell mine for considerably less than the one in san fran and it's never been out of the desert.

There is far more than 'cosmetic' rust in that truck.....there are holes all over it.

Here is a "mint" FJ62 for you with 67,000 original miles

I haven't seen the truck but he lives 3 min from me. He also has had it for sale for months now so maybe he is willing to sell it at a cheaper price. I don't now him personally I just see his ad in craigslist here in the Bay Area - CA -

Based on the pics, that 62 has 60 mirrors and what appears to be spray paint on the frame and on the spring packs (see pic of left rear wheel). It looks clean overall, though.

80 series LC and 2nd gen 4runner

NOT affiliated but thought you guys might be interested:

80 series(unknown year, can find out): Needs a little cosmetic work: Hood has some fading on it and the rear drivers quarter panel has a spot that he has repaired that is just primer. Its not perfect but it was cheap last time he had it for sale do to it having a mileage exempt title. Has the locker switch and cloth interior. Interior isn't too bad.

2nd gen 4runner-possibly 95-Dark green-5speed, 4wd,i forgot tp look at the mileage. has brush guard(part of it is bent). I didn't see a V6 badge on the grill so i think it is the 4cylinder. Pretty good shape.

Let me know if you want anymore info or pictures.

lunyou
