engine started 1st try, sounded & ran good, drove & braked straight, everything seemed to work fine. he had receipt from it passing emissions a couple of months prior. It did have a lot of rust, the body was repainted, needed new fenders, left turn signal had a short(?) but the engine was mostly stock, with a good, straight frame. Ron, over at rocky mountain cruisers, took a look at it for me. said it was probably worth the 2K he was asking. I liked it a lot but have only looked at a few crusiers and wasn't ready just yet. I did have it when it was raining & snowing so I didn't get to give everything that close a look.

id have to do some research through the big huge folder of info that came with it, but i do think it has been replaced. the timing chain was replaced awhile ago also. i do not know compression numbers. 4wd works great, i try and use it atleast 2-3 times a week. i can get rust pics on request but theres only 2 spots, minor. also the a/c works real well, if it doesnt sell soon i was going to recharge it, heat works better then any vehicle ive owned.

Everything is in good condition. Couple of small paint chips around fender wells. Oil burn is noticeable on cold mornings at initial start up.
Maintenance under my ownership: Oil change every 3-5k miles. Radiator flushed and refilled with Toyota red coolant. Had one plug wire to go out so all wires, plugs, and cap were replaced at that time.
My Land Cruiser has been my pride and joy since I purchased it, but sadly the recent purchase of my wife's bimmer has led me to post it here.

Truck has 142K miles, but a new crate motor Chevy SB 350, Elderbrock intake & carb, HEI distributor, corvette ram-horn manifolds, catback dual exhaust, with adapter installed 18K miles ago (3yrs). New 30” Tires (aprox 1K), new inspection, 4-speed, and tons of rooms. Lots of new parts installed when engine was swap. Was repainted original desert tan about 6 years ago paint still shines up very well, a few minor rust bubbles in wheel wells and no dents. The interior is in great shape, carpet & headliner clean and no tears. The only problem is a small cigarette burn in driver’s seat. I’ve owned this truck for 9 years and didn’t smoke. The OEM tool kit and jack looks complete. Tow hitch and roof racks included. Good sounding Pioneer stereo with CD player. New A/C compressor needs to be hooked up. Can send photos if interested.
