Have had a build on the 70 section of the forum for a while now, but in the last few months things have escalated as they seem to into a fairly purpose built rig,

Unfortunately most of the pics have been lost with Photobuckets new account styles

Started life with me with the GM 308 5l motor swap and 4 inch lift,

Out with the 12's and in with some 14's

Roughed in the rear hoops for the 14's

Before the ute chop, and when it was still spring under,

Bastard packs all round. The rears are 78 main and armour with a few 4 inch lift leaves. Relocated hangers front and rear. Front is RUF 4 inch springs main and armour and a few 4 inch front to fill the pack. Shackle reverse up front using basically factory positions.

Full floating seat mounts will make hosing out the cab a breeze, harness attachments,

You can see the cutout to mate the FJ75 roof to the 73 body work, and cross bar to hold the rear screen,

Designed to be able to remove rear screen support and roof to go buggy style or topless ute or full ute,

With old rear bar,

Chassis mount rear work,

Hydro assist, solid tierod and drag bar, ball joints through out,

Steering boss done, to suit 280mm Raid wheel,

The only creature comforts left, lol,

The usual suspects for the front axle rebuild,

Moved the air tank onto the top o f the tray,

Out with the Factory 90L tank,

Mounted up a 60L fuel cell,

Started chopping out for the dovetail,

Looking at 100mm plus squeeze on each side, nicely exposed tyre now.

Chopped, to aid a clean fold,

Passengers side initial chop, ended up about twice this width,
