FJ62 Transmission Cooler inlet/outlet size (in radiator)

Hi All,

I posted this same question on my swap thread but wanted to reach the widest possible audience. While doing a Vortec swap I replaced my stock radiator with an identical CSF 2708 radiator and wanted to install -6an fittings for the integrated transmission cooler inlet/outlets. However, I can't find the specs anywhere to tell me what size the inlet and outlet are. Can anyone please help me out here? I'm trying to get a lot of work done tomorrow and can't wait until Monday to call CSF in the hopes that they can answer. Thanks!

I want to say they are either M14x1.5 or M16x1.5, I have my radiator out right now and can check for you first thing in the morning.

I figured it out not long ago when a customer had another shop install an add on cooler and it leaked at a couple points, replaced it with this

@NCFJ, thanks again for the quick reply. I've got three of those adapters in my cart at Summit (includes a spare). Did you use crush washers on it as well?

Last question: it doesn't make a difference which port is the inlet or outlet on the trans cooler in the radiator, does it? I'm planning to route the line from the transmission to the port on the right (passenger side, I suppose, right next to the inlet), then out from the radiator to the external cooler, and from the external cooler to the transmission return line. Sound about right?
