im new to fjs, i have a 88 fj62 that i got with no auto tranny. i need to see if the engine runs and how good. with a good battery nothing happens when i turn the key. i can get the motor to turn over by using a remote starter switch and i wired the fuel pump direct and got furl to the fuel filter but i have no fire. is there a way to wire up the computer at least temporarily to see how this thing runs. there are 6 plugs hanging down that i guess used to be connected to the tranny.

Neutral start x3.

just like the other thread you started on this subject.....how is the rear of the engine being supported?

sorry about starting two threads, i dont spend much time in front of a computer, the engine was being suported by the exhaust system but now i have a jack stand and block. engine supoport was not listed as a problem in either of the threads. thanks

any idea which of the 6 plugs would be the nss?? some are a 2 wire some have several wires. thanks for the reply

Try a wire connector with a B-W (black with a white trace) and a B-R (black with a red trace). This connector might also have a blue wire and a yellow-blue trace wire.

It's too late to pull my harness and look.

thanks granite grinder, i looked at you pics and got it to turn over with the key. i was short on time at last night, it still wont start , i think im still not getting fire, ill investigate that next. thanks for the reply.
