Yes sir - 60 series pump and box on the 40.
Even with the 16 x 1.5 mm knowledge, I was SOL at the hose place.
So I will head to Summit and order up adapters, then make new hose.
I am a little confused by Mace's post; I thought JIC was a metric-type standard and AN was a standard size?

JIC is steel AN = Aluminum..
They are the exact same thread pitch/style.
SAE is different.
-6an/jic is the same
Order the adapters from lee and order the hose from a local place. If your hose shop cannot make a -6jic hydraulic hose they are seriously worthless...
Or get the resuseable ends from summit

pump side is 5/8 x 18 inverted flare to -6jic
Hose -6 jic to your length
hi press box side is 16mm x 1.5 inverted flare to -6 jic.
Return line should be easy with the stock lines..

I thought the high pressure hose had the same fittings at both ends - pump & box?

I'm guessing I would need one each of the above and one other fitting to use on my V-8 swap. I'll be running a 5.7 Vortec with GM p/s pump, and will retain the stock LC steering gear. So would it be correct to order one each of the above and then what every it take to adapt to the pressure side of the GM pump?

Box side
16mm x 1.5 inverted flare to #6jic for the return side and
17mm x 1.5 inverted flare to #6jic for the press side for
pump side
5/8 x 18 , -6an (jic) (press side)
Any hose place can make you the -6 ended hoses..
The return side is very low pressure. a slip fitting will not be a problem...

Alright, just seeking clarification here Mace - in some places you are saying the pressure side is 17 mm, and other places you are saying the pressure side is 16 mm.
Which do you believe it to be?

O-k, I am not sure about what box you are running, but I just installed my custom hose using adapters and it was 16mmx1.5 to 6 JIC for the pressure side...
