Funny thing…. I am reading this 6 1/2 years later and I have the exact same problem.. even while sitting in the garage a few days, there is a pool of dexron on the floor. As mentioned I am hoping that a new o-ring will cure this leak.
@Ry24000. Yes, it was the o-ring between the reservoir and the pump..seems as though it shifts up on one side no matter how you try to press the tank down.
I am resealing now and I have extra O rings. Three small ones all three different sizes, but small. Like the ones in the picture above, on top of the spring/ flow control valve.
I took this apart today. I took my gear apart yesterday and cleaned it up, got it ready and pulled the needle bearings. I have an extra o ring in that one too. Can't find a place for it anywhere. I think these kits have extras or have seals for some other slightly different variation? Lots of time invested now!
