Yes, I thought pricey as well but, the quality/brightness difference is staggering IMO.

I already order 4 of the parking ones at super bright lights .. and couple of the eBay ones .. will post my impressions when install 'em ..

I have the fullylit reverse lights. They are stupid bright. and I love them..

I've trying to get set for PFran and FullyLed with no luck .. looks like they only are selling interior right now .. dunno why ..

I'm gonna bite the dust with set of this also .. I was debating between retrofited projectors with HID or this option while this one seems more bolt on without the " ballast " issue ( that could be a problem IMOP )

I really want to know what you think of the headlights. I want a set but they are too rich for my blood.

I will say that my Trucklite LED off road lights are very nice..

if they are too rich for you, imagine what they are for my poor 3rd world economy blood .. but I don't want to mess with bunch of light in front of Tencha .. and LED bars won't go with the 80' look on her neither .. so looks like good elegant way to go ..

Thanks for this great LED table

Thanks for taking the time to put this chart together. I have already installed the interior, front parking, dash, and reverse lights. I want to upgrade the stop, tail, turn signal lights, but wanted to check first to see if I need to change the stock flasher to an electronic one or install an inline resistor for these lights to work properly. Thanks again

In Tencha resistor was needed in order to use LED at turn lights with the stock flasher .. I didn't so I keep the stock bulbs for turning lights ..

Has anyone found the need for the flasher or load resistors that superbrightleds.com sells?

It is my understanding that to use an LED with the purpose of flashing that you will need one of those.

My point of view? Why bother? They only illuminate for a short time. Not enough heat created to cause concern. Pretty sure my FJ60 has original turn signal bulbs in it lol

I have LEDs in almost everything else though. Front corner lights, side markers, license plate lights, reverse lights.

I guess I'll try them without then first.... Thanks for the quick response.

Also I found for the rear side markers, that a WLED-RHP5 instead of RHP6 is not what is needed.... The RHP6 doesn't appear to be the correct bulb when looking on superbrights site.

Also I'm having trouble matching the parking lights on superbrights site.

The table on page 1 of this thread says a BA-15 9 LED is what to look for but only BAU-xx's are available.

Is that the correct bulb to get?

UPDATE:

After talking with a rep at Superbrightleds.com apparently the WLED-G-90's for the 4WD and blinkers are not on the site. It took a phone call to get those done.

Also for the parking lights, the new part # is 67-W9-WV.

I'm looking to replace my reverse lights with some bright LED's. When I look at the superbrightleds.com site, there are alot of different configurations of the 1157 bulb.

Can anyone recommend a good reverse bulb that will project light out so I can see better when I am backing up?

My LED experience for my 1987 FJ60 from SuperBrightLED's:

These led's looked great as the front indicators + license plate lights:

Part #: 67-W15

Side makers Amber:

Part #: WLED-AHP5

Side markers Red:

Part #: WLED-RHP5

Overhead interior light:

Part #: 3022-WWHP4

Rear interior light:

Part #: 3610-WW4

The only trouble I ran into were the brake lights and reverse lights. I ordered 1156 and 1157 base bulbs but the socket itself was too shallow to push in far enough to twist and lock. For my 1987 FJ60, these below wouldn't work. Did anyone else have this trouble?

Reverse, part #: 1156-W26-CBT

Brakes, part #: 1157-R26-CBT

I got both of those to work. Seem to remember having to kinda force them. They work great though - the brake lights are so bright they are almost better at illuminating whats behind than the reverse lights.

Some photos to go with the words.

Yes I ran into the same ill-fitting issue with the brake bulbs: 1157 CAN Bus LED Bulb - Dual Intensity 26 SMD LED Tower Part Number: 1157-R26-CBT.

I did have great luck with the 7W Q5 CREE high-power LED socket 1156 reverse bulbs. They are super bright.http://www.pfranleds.com/60-series-7w-cree-led-q5-high-power-reverse-bulbs-socket-1156/

Gauge replacement didn't go so well. I ordered WLED-xLX from SuperBright LED's but they don't fit and are significantly bigger that the stock bulb. Any body else have this problem? Getting it to fit would require cutting the hole bigger, Don't want to do that. The WLED-xLX i got had a plastic sleeve at the base and removing that didn't help.

Did you all get a different bulb that I did?

I used the table from the following link, and everything was perfect:

https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/fj62-led-swap-out.827184/

The only bulb that was questionable was the high beam light. I just sanded down the shoulder of the bulb with a dremel and it fit the socket. I trusted this table, and it did not fail me! Don't forget to buy the little AC button bulb (like I did.) The bulb isn't in the table, but within the thread. If you have ANY questions, PM me! It was one fo the most successful and satisfying upgrades I've done to my truck (aside from installing my Pioneer radio. :))
