The body color paint is under those plastic trim pieces. Removal gives a nice utility look. As far as working with ABS, it's super easy. If you need to modify it to fit around the wiring harness or jack mount, just heat with a heat gun and form it to the shape. Once cooled it'll look OEM. If your not keeping the rear washer or jack, that space can be modified to accommodate storage, compressor or inverter. I've had my panels in for almost ten years and they're still rock solid. No discoloration, deformities or rattle.

Good luck!
What inverter is that? Do you need a dual battery set up to run one of these? Sweet mod by the way!

Sorry, I can't remember which one is in there. It's been in the 60 for about 8-9 year now. I use it for charging and an engel fridge from time to time. It's run drills, a compressor and cutoff tools as well. It only needed one battery, but I run a dual system.

maybe i'm slow...but I seem to be missing something here.
Our Door Cards

all their content suggests the material is masonite - so where is everyone getting these black plastic ones?

You're slightly slow. Not sure why they don't have the ABS panels on their website, probably an oversight. Look here, or send the guys an email with the email address that was previously posted.

EDIT: ebay link added to my post earlier in the thread to make this more clear.

Is there a certain thickness you are using for the ABS panel?

Approx. 1/8 inch. It's a standard size from the plastic distributors. Good luck!

Perfect thanks! I am picking up some this week to so the rear panels. I liked your pocket and planning on creating something similar. It seems very functional.
I would never put anything in the side there as you mentioned, since mine is covered in a waxy oil for rust protection.

A question to those who have put the ABS cards in- Is the cab louder? I would guess the fabric absorbs some sound, whereas these would be reflective.

I would say I don't notice a difference though I just went through an extensive sound deadening process.

Same. When I have the door panels off, I put some CruiserCrap sound deadening on the outer skin of the door (from the inside).

Thanks guys. I really like the looks of these cards but don't want to take two steps forward and one step back on the sound deadening front.

Two steps forward, one step back, is still one step forward.

Just take the time to sound deaden the doors or the panels. I doubt the stock ones offer much if anything.

The kicker 5.25" speakers I found fit perfectly in the stock opening with a 3/8" ply spacer, without having to cut the abs door card. Plenty loud (75w rms) but not much bass. It's pretty nice to have it all hidden!

Yes, one door is brown, one is blue. Yes, my truck is white. Yes, that's cruiser crap on the blue door, replacing the vapor barrier.

Got my set of 4 door cards from Austrailian door cards about a week ago. They look great and showed up a week after I ordered them. Waiting to hear back on the us spec cards for the rear cargo area.

On the rear Cargo US Spec cards, I did send my OEM set to them and they have received them as of last week. US postal service is brutal and it took forever to get them there as well as not super cheap. He said they will get to work on them asap and ship all back to me. I will reach out to him later this week to see how it's coming along and keep the Tread updated on the progress.

Awesome! I just ordered a set of door cards from them and was wondering about the cargo area, if anyone was doing something similar.

Hopefully once he gets them done, ships them back and I'll test fit them and let them know how they fit, I am sure they will offer them full time on their site.

ADC seems pretty quick with communication and turn around.

Just wondering if you've heard back from them yet?
