Thanks! Things are looking bright for this rig to get done pretty soon

Recently got a tcase and got it in the rig. Got the floor figured out and it's also skinned now (just don't have pics) just installed a belt and alternator today. Bunch of other little things done. Ordering a clutch this week and a bunch of little guys for the engine bay.

Been working ALOT the last few months but have also been doing everything I can when I have a day off (all money no time now) but I have hit a wall. I need a getrag 360 clutch fork out of the first gen dodge Cummins trucks. But yet I cant find one anywhere. I cannot do anything without it and am getting desperate. Does anyone know or have one they would be willing to sell? Any leads would be great! Thanks guys

can you swap to a hydraulic throwout?
I haven't been able to find kit for a dodge nv4500 I was going with at idea until I was having the issue of finding them

This was actually a GM one I converted to dodge. Input shaft is almost double the size then the Chevy one

I will get someone to swing into my shop and measure it. You just want the ID?

ID is the majority - the only other issue with hydraulic throwouts is some transmissions are too close to the engine to retrofit. But I presume the length is the same as it was on the smaller shaft you removed - which, IIRC, GM did a hydraulic set up for the later transmissions... so that should be fine.

Out of idle curiosity - is there a picture of the arm you need? worst case, I suppose, would be to fab something up.

Out of sheer luck and great friends my buddy had one stashed away that he parted with!

Got the floor all finished. Shifters built. Clutch in everything back together with boom mat and new carpet over the weekend

It's been a crazy few months but I figured I would update this thread for whoever still follows along. Finished the cruiser last saturday late at night and got to go hit the trails on sunday! Found a few small bugs that need to be addressed but other then that the thing worked better then I could of ever hoped!

Badass!!! Congrats!!! As always, love the H2s :D
Thanks! A few setbacks. I have one injector not firing and already have a new set in route. Also the front (rear 62 springs) could run with the rig and decided to bend the opposite way and stay that way haha. Just picked up some OME heavy pluses with extra add a leaf today hoping these will handle the weight alot better!

I have a set of OME heavy under the front of my 40 with the 6.5 and they work great. You probably won't need the add a leaf.

I have 2 add a leafs in the pack. Think that will be too much? Im gambling on them hopefully flatening out some to keep my same height and not making me low in the rear

Great job, the rig looks great! Now comes the rest of the build ;)
