FJ60 Condenser question

I just tried emptying the oil from the old one and it is bone dry! Explains the mess it is on the bottom. Can't really measure the oil and compare with new one. Any suggestions? Thanks

Does anyone know where to find a replacement condenser these days? I cannot find anything listed by Denso anymore which is what others have used as I have pored through this forum. I have a 7/1986 Fj60.

new condensers are NLA anywhere world wide. Gotta go used or aftermarket now unfortunately unless you can find one in a toyota warehouse somewhere.

Hi. I actually have two used ac condensers, but they are both for an FJ62 (I think there are some slight differences). One came with my vehicle and I had to wrestle it off prior to my LS swap, so it's a little worse for wear. The other I bought on ebay just for the drier-to-condenser pipe, so I have no idea if it's functional. Anyway, if you're interested in either or both, just let me know.

Thanks but I looked at the ones for the 62 and I don’t think they will work without new custom hoses. I think I will get an aftermarket cool stream and just have custom hoses fitted.

I have a 1982 FJ 60 and need an AC Condenser. I am having the hardest time finding one. I also need so other misc parts to the AC. I looked at SOR and EBay Motors and Rock Auto. Any other place to find these rare AC parts?

I searched high and low and could not find one anywhere for my 1983. I bought a universal from cold hose and am fabricating a mount and lines, hope it works.

Are the condensers still available? I would be interested.

Had to dig this threat back up but is there any aftermarket consensers that would work in 2026? I keep searching this forum and anywhere else with no luck. All the parts that people have used before here are discontinued. Are there any updated aftermarket condenser that someone had good luck with?

Also if it helps u have a Chevy 350 swap on mine m. So the lines will probably have to be custom anyways

I'm waiting on my first run of condensers. Early and late.

Once here I will have them on the website for sale.

I hate to ask this but do you have an estimate on when you’ll get them? So I can check back on this again close to that time lol
Scotia, in the classifieds has a version in-stock for FJ60s that will likely work for you since you need custom lines anyways:
