The bolt patterns are slightly different where the box bolts to the frame. Many threads on this. As long as you pick one box or the other, it shouldn't be an issue.

Early FJ60s, through 1984 (I'm not sure of the exact month/year change in pattern) have a square steering box bolt pattern. 1985 on has a parallelogram bolt pattern and this steering box bolt pattern is carried through with FJ62 and 80 series. Later FJ60 and FJ62 steering boxes will bolt up to the FJ62 frame as will an 80 series box.

these are from the 1980 & 1984-1990 body & chassis manuals. "FJ-60" is on the top, "FJ-62" is on the bottom. There are differences in the frame (rear crossmember is different) but the body mounts look like they are in the same locations. Unfortuantely, Toyota chose to dimension the two schematics differently, so it's difficult to compare directly...

For any one doing a 62 series frame swap under a 60....I think this drawing is extremely helpful...as it shows the location of the transmission crossmember.

Will be doing this shortly...All the major stuff is the same with some good improvments of the fj62 frame. Beefer spring mounts and I think one or two others I cant think of off the top of my head. Plus they are newer and have a better chance of being rust-free.

Beefier spring mounts... all of my leaf spring mounts are falling apart. Need to pull my leafs and re weld them all again.
