I have m3 sport seats in mine with his brackets. i need to step up on my slider to get up high enough to clear the side bolster but i don’t have a problem but without the step i wouldn’t be able to get in. comfortable seats. i’m 6’2” and 210 lbs and my kids still have enough leg room behind me for now

thanks

they are 6 inch focal speakers. they are awesome. i took my old speaker grille and had it paint matched. i painted the grille and the spacer ring i needed to get it to fit but it clears the window fine and sounds so good. i have the tweeter component mounted up high on the door too and also paint matched

The sport seats have a high side bolster, which is great for when you're driving but it will give you a wedgie when getting in and out of the truck. All of them are good for tall people

do your brackets work with these m3 seats?? I found a a pair 2002?? Will the brackets work?

In stock for anyone looking for a comfy ride.
Of course the pair I just picked up are from a 2015 F30. Your site says up to 2014. Do you know what changed?

Beware the late models which have airbags, just stay away from the yellow coated wires.

Is the yellow wire a one time bit of excitement? Imagine wiring it up for the wife and it's a surprise like a popper with confetti.

Having just bought a '62, I'm excited to make this mod. Thanks Tor for another awesome product!

Is your FJ62 floor modified in some way? The brackets should fit all 62 series
No, not modified. I see what happened... when I click on the 60 series products, only the 60 brackets popped up and I was looking at those. Its why I made that comment about the fit. The 62 brackets don't populate as an option. But I just found the 62 brackets using a google search. 👍

My 2015 seats have the following mounting hole measurements, on center, give or take a few 16ths.
Driver
Front L to R 16 1/2”
Rear L to R 16 1/4”
Front to back 14 3/8”

Pass
Front L to R 16 1/4”
Rear L to R 16 1/4”
Front to back 14 3/8”

The drivers seat frame was bent slightly which is probably why the front measurement differs slightly from the others. I should be able to persuade that mounting hole position a little if needed.

If those measurements match the older seats, I'll be putting an order in. Thanks @torfab

Also the 2015 seats have a blue plug into the main yellow connector for the airbags.

BMW has a site where you can download the wiring diagram - its behind a paywall. There was a site that had the diagrams for free, but BMW shut them down. I also went to my local BMW dealer and talked to a service guy, who connected me with a tech, who printed out additional diagrams for me.

Anyone have the approximate measurement from a 62 w Torfab brackets going from the floor in front of the seat to the height of the front seat cushion?

As I tAs

As I took this picture, I realized your results may vary, based on how you adjust the rake of the seat. Also, the front edge of my seats has a sliding bolster, which I usually extend for more thigh support. I pushed it back for the picture so the torfab bracket would be closer to the tape. Let me know what else I can answer for you.

Thank you. Thats about where my stock seat measures. Is this full down? I was hoping to get the height up an inch or two from there.

Here are some more. The first is with the seat down all the way. Second is all the way up(slightly higher than the photo I posted on Friday). Third is same as second, but with bolster/pad extended.
