Hi FJ55 owners,

SLOCRUISERS is still in business. My in-stock inventory is limited but I have plans to expand my product line. My current plan is to work on the fixed windows for the rear doors. I finally found the rubber pieces for the project.

My weatherstripping product line includes vent window, early taillight, tailgate window, upper tailgate and door handle pads.

I have re-invested all earnings into my business product line. My intention is to provide a good product line along with good customer service.

I have a passion for the FJ55 like most FJ55 owners share. It is a unique Cruiser.

Now see, I like that. Thanks John for the FYI: I started to post on your PVsers post but thought better of it. Lot of talk out there and often little do (I fit the latter catagory). I finally coughed up for seths cargo window W/S. So, guess it's about time I start spending some money on the rest of it in support of your great efforts. :o

I have bought from slocruisers and have been really happy with what I got.

Fixed window rubber for the rear doors would be awesome! Count me in for that.

John, I am in the same boat as weeboo, need the upper tailgate window stripping that Seth was fabbing; bought one set and it was awsome now am hurting for another on the transplant pigs :(

I know when it is coming when my manufacturer sends an invoice. No invoice yet as of 2/25/2008.

Some call this custom work. I call it being spend thrift. I get no discounts for quanitity purchases. I don't want to bother you with the economics of the FJ55 business. I think it is a great product but I sold only 5 tailgate window pieces for the entire year of 2007.

And I think I bought one of them. Quality piece. I also have the front vent window rubber...also quality. Looking forward to seeing the rear fixed window pieces and will order them as soon as available, so let me know. Thanks John for your dedication to the cause.

John,
did you buy the weatherstrip stock from the recently defunct pvcruisers.com?
I tried to buy some cargo pieces but no luck. I got my money back after filing a claim with Paypal. My tailgate window piece was different than PVCruisers. Different design. I talked to Seth a couple of times at SurfnTurf in 05 and 06. I wished him good luck.

Eric,

I have a day job to support the cause.

I emailed you a response to your rubber parts donation. I forgot to mention that the windshield piece is available via a couple of vendors (SOR and Scott's). The piece is made so cheaply via SE Asia I could never compete with their costs.

Thanks for the info- I'll begin my paypal claim to get my money back.

John, appreciate all the help you have given us Pig owners......... got your tailgate weather stripping along with the tail light seals; they are great pieces; do you have the rest of Seth's stock?; am in need of the upper tailgate seal also;

That's not very many, hardly seems worth the effort!! One of those was mine and it works very well thank you!!

Do we have an ETA on the FJ55 rear door fixed window weatherstrip?

Are you doing any other FJ45LV weatherstrip other than the vent window which I got from you a few months back?

Come on the rest of you '55 owners, pony up the cash for the parts that you need before another '55 vendor disappears. It isn't free and never will be.

john your efforts are definately appreciated,, only 5 tailgate window pieces for the whole year,, well i'm sure you didnt expect to move hundreds but still i woulda thought that to be a bigger number. i for one am in need of one but the lack of purchase thus far is simply priorities, but you'll be getting my order at some point.

I will need vent widows, cargo windows, rear fixand rear window eventually. It will be this summer when I order all necessary parts for it, when I have an internship and am generating income. Any idea on the expected cost of the fixed rear window? Thanks.

Brian,

No idea on cost or timeline of the fixed windows. I will probably package and price them as a set. The piece looks simple but I have found nothing simple on the FJ55.
