I bought it last April from inkpot, I actually fell in love with this exact cruiser 30 years ago when my mother took me to her work on a Saturday John(inkpot) worked there and I thought it was a monster truck. Strange luck and 30 years later I own the exact cruiser that started my obsession with landcruiser.

Thanks, I own a fj40 and don't get me wrong I love it , but is doesn't have the charm and good looks of a pig.. Owning this truck is really a dream come true..

Chattanooga, TN. Previous owner said it was originally a TX truck bit I haven't ran anything on it yet. I need to do some bodywork to it with some of bobm panels and get it repainted and a few other things bit seems to be a good find for me.

I wonder what side-view mirrors those are?
 
I picked it up awhile back but I had it in the shop for awhile

It's a one owner (it came with the original pink slip!)

So far I've had a tri-y header and new exhaust installed.
Newer carb rebuilt (I think from a 76?),
New drums/rotors and master cylinder,
New steering box
Mercedes bucket seats and rear bench from 95 300 (rear bench isn't installed yet)
And running 31's

Things to come

SOA and re-gearing
Exterior body work
Warn winch
Safari rack
Lockers front and rear
Suggestions ...
