looks great,,, a pickup cab like that was always one of the ideas for mine,,, but i would have stretched it a bit and lengthened the doors.

Stretch would be the way to go!
Extended cab, or long strips of bacon... Mmmm, bacon!

Looks great however using galvanized sheet metal will be really difficult to paint. It can be done but requires a special prep of the metal and will most likely peel.

Looks great and I was wondering about the galvanized metal as well.

Ya know, on closer inspection, it would appear that even I would be filling out that cab- and every speed bump would be a potential for head injury/rear window replacement. it does look real nice tho. I like the way he did the lower rear corners, it has a nice shape. still, there isn't alot of structure back there. there. now I can go to sleep:p

Galvy is the nastiest stuff in the world to weld even outside. The fumes and the floating snots that come off of it, the tastes stays in your mouth for hours and it aint good for you. Stick with the steel, Or better yet stainless.

Thanks Bob.

Now SS that's a good idea...never even have to paint it! Well for that matter I guess you really don't have to paint Galvanized either.
