For the past year or so i've seen a fj55 in the industrial section adjecent to downtown just sitting there. The rig is very noticeable due to its bright green grill. It looks like someone put some work into it at one point, but its looking a little down right now. The windows in the cargo area have been smashed out and it looks like it is missing the tailgate glass. The tires in the front are also flat. Its just sad so see a car like that just sit there. Anyone on here seen it before or know who the owner is?

I've also seen a really nice seafoam/white colored one around too. Anyone on here?

Steal It!! :DIts for its own good!!

I thought I saw an ad on C-list not too long ago, forget if it was here or Pirate...
Cargo glass broken out by kids...sounds familiar.
Steal it. I got all the spare glass you need.

One of my old profs once said " To ask is is not to steal "--they might just say this little piggie needs a good home(cheap)--Good luck, don't be bashful and I hope it finds a good home with you-:pDave

I got a couple of pics. I didn't feel comfortable taking any closeups, but you get the general idea from what I have.

Damn! Looks better than my heap:hillbilly:

Howdy! All of that glass is flat anyway. Just need a pattern or a good glass shop. Do an abandon vehicle search thru DMV. Got any friendly cops in the area? You can claim it if nobody else does. The state will give you a title, it just takes about 6 months to do it all. Well worth it, though. John

Reality Check

Dying of laughter here. Stand back and look at this thread from an outsiders perspective...17 entries concernimg a POS abandoned on the side of the road. Broken windows, rust and dents and people are saying it actually looks good. Really, and hey, it has some panels that are better than mine.....hmmmm. Greyscale, name suggest your attitude toward the criminal justice system? IF you get your mits on it legal like hit me up, I might be in the mood for a new hood, on and on, make some bank off of us Pigheads from parts?

It actually looks better then a few rigs that were on craiglist in the seattle area. :flipoff2:

I have never actually stated an interest in buying it. I rarely see crusiers older then a 80, so when I do see something older I tend to stare. This one in particular is noteworthy because i've been driving past it for over a year.

My name is not based on a shady view of the US legal system, but rather my tendancy to not align myself with one point of view. I also dislike using color when designing things.

That is all.
