Took my drivers door off to measure and trace hinge holes/location. Found this door is as bad if not worse than the passenger door.
Decided to make a new/better template for replacement door skin before I tear into this one too.

Will you blast and epoxy the interior of the doors BEFORE you weld on the exterior skin? What are your plans to coat it on the interior to prevent corrosion for the future?
This is really impressive work! I have been through a tour of the McPherson Restoration College in McPherson, KS Auto Restoration - McPherson College
and you definitely have skills for this!
I really want an FJ55, but my time is limited to do this level of work anymore!

The rust looks worse than it really is. I wire wheeled it and plan to put a rust neutralizer on it and some POR15.

Been busy pirating, no time to fab.
I'm still working on the door however, a buddy of mine offered me a set of (4) rust free doors and I could not pass them up.
So it has slid to the bottom of my list but will post photos as soon as I get back to it.

If someone wants to take the skin I made and throw it on their rusty door, I would be happy to donate it to see this thread continue. I had planned to make another anyway. If anyone is interested let me know...
