Front or rear? For the Front you can buy some Ford F250 Towers from the dealer Tech links should have the Part #.. Or Trail Gear or Marlin have tube style ones..

Rear is going to need to be your own creation.

My Rear shocks suck ass Procomps mounted just like JRFJ4-'s i just cant see cuttin up the tub just yet ;)
 
Cheap

I used a cheap ass harbor freight bender and schedule 40 pipe for my front shock hoops. I think the pipe was like 5 or 7 bucks at Lowes.

i'd say where you have the shock is fine. as long as it's out of harms way and attached properly because if your shocks are what are limiting your flex its going to put a hell of alot of stress on them. I'd get a set of doestch tech (sp?) they come in 14" - 16" travel and there around 40 a peice i believe. I also think your angle a dangle is pretty good ...

That's so awesome, I've been wanting to 1/4 elliptic the rear of mine, but my wife would kill me if she came home and I had the Cruiser tore apart again.

thanks to all for the help. my ps mount and brake mounts came today. going to get the block saturday. and try to make some progress the :princess: did not like the idea of moving the rear axle back. she liked the body the way it was. all though she is happy with the stance of it now. my fiancee is going to kill me if i do not get some of my other toys gone:doh:
 
this is what we started with we went wheeling for a little bit and started to take it apart

we cut fenders and the wheel wells. and did some looking how would be a good way to mount shocks. i think we found a good way for the mounts.

the spring are out of a two wheel drive ford f150 early 90s. use the thicker spring. got for 40 bones at you pull it.
 
i was going to get a nv4500 to day called the man with it and he sold at about hour be for i called.:o so back on the hunt for a tranny:doh:
 
i have a 4 link kit from proffitt's in the rear. but they told me for dd it would not drive good on the street. with a 4 link in the front so i am going to let to ride like it is. i do not have a truck to pull it with:o . so it needs to drive ok on the street. but i would like to see it flex out like yours. wild at heart
 
need some help has some one used all-pro hi steer arms? look good for the $. thanks for the help
 
i can get nv4500 650.00 but they are cores. ebay tranny kits for like 180.00 should i get it and fix it??????????:confused:
