Media FJ40 Pics from "Back in the day" (70's, 80's)

Both of these images are mid to late 70s. My dad bought the 1970 FJ55 new when he was a salesman at a local Toyota dealership. My two younger brothers and I all came home from the hospital and learned to drive in that truck. It remained the family "truckster" for many years and racked up too many great memories to count. I drove it in high school until my middle brother, @POTATO LAUNCHER was old enough to drive. It was passed along to him at that point, and so on. I wish we still had it!
The vertical is my youngest brother playing in the driveway of our childhood home. My dad used to yell at us for leaving toys under the 55, like the red wagon pictured.
The horizontal shows a load of kids I brought to Vacation Bible School as a young lad. At one point, my mom had 16 kids packed into the 55 at one time. I'm sure she would be arrested for that today, but we sure had a blast at the time. Both of my brothers were buried somewhere in the truck at the time of the photo, but you can't see them. I think that is me in the lower-right corner.
