Interesting how they all black out the "TA" on the tailgate to only let "TOYO", must have a logical reason behind that

I thought the same thing when I first looked, however, there are a few without (the “black out”, and one in plain sight.
My guess is they are registration plates or similar. There are a few behind people. I highly doubt someone would go through and edit behind folks.

The 2 without on this pic are Hilux and not 45 !
(event if the one in the back seems to be a Hilux cab with a 45 bed)

But yep maybe licence plates, just weird we can't see the writings.

The one on the right sure looks like a 45. Center and upper right look Hilux.

Not all that old. This was taken in the early '90s. Gonna bet about 1993 or 1994 if I remember right. Coming down off of Knick Glacier, back when it was not unreasonable to reach the ice in the summer time.

Yep, just a license plate. Good eye.

Hilux has plate holder below tailgate and protected by the rear bumper. Safest location for the 45!is on the bed.

Looks like one of the ‘stans. I was gonna say Afghanistan, but the plates don’t look right. Also, there aren’t enough corollas, or packed motorcycles with families of 5. Definitely Central Asia.
