I did a disc swap on my '73 FJ40 and I picked up a couple knuckle arms at a swap meet. It wasn't until I got the knuckle arms all cleaned up and painted that I noticed that they had different hole diameters for the tie rid ends. I guess there are different TRE's with large and small diameter bolt size? I guess I need to find another knuckle arm so they match? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Go to FAQs at the top of this section and scroll down to frt ends and click on steering knuckles 101. Post #19 should be helpful. You can change arms, or figure out how the use larger tre's and tie rod.
