I know a guy that works there. Restomod is their hotrod brand. I think they more of a kit brand as well that is less expensive and not a la carte.

Classic Auto Air - Air Conditioning & Heating for 70’s & Older Cars & TrucksDo you know the name of the other option? I tried searching here on Mud to see if anything came up, but haven't found anything yet.
I'd love to see some photos of your install and any details. Thanks.I used the Restomod system in my 4 door project build. good equipment.
I used it because of the fit and the fact that you could select Defrost, Dash Air, or Floor air. the unit has enough outlets to allow for either or combo the selection of outputs.
I finished my Vintage Air install today. The instructions were very in-depth and very accurate. It would have gone faster if I didn't keep thinking that I was smarter than the instructions.I'm beginning my Vintage Air IV install today. Wish me luck!

How much of the glove box bottom is cut? Can you post a pic of glove box opened?I finished my Vintage Air install today. The instructions were very in-depth and very accurate. It would have gone faster if I didn't keep thinking that I was smarter than the instructions.
In total, the install took ~36 hours. It would have been faster except for causing a leak in the radiator when attempting to drain it from the drain nipple / cock.
Also, be prepared to pay for having the A/C hoses crimped and having the system charged. The AC shop bill was just shy of $300.
All in all I am very happy with the install and the quality of the build. It is blowing ice cold and can blow SUPER cold.
None. The only compromise with the glovebox is that a small computer, the size of a larger smartphone, is mounted on the inside next to the plug, and three bolt heads are showing. I will post a photo later. How much of the glove box bottom is cut? Can you post a pic of glove box opened?
Hey gte037p my instructions recommend upgrading to 100 amp alternator. I still have the original 50. Did you upgrade?None. ThanksI did not change my alternator and have seen no negative change in the electrical system.
The only problem I had with the instructions is that a 2nd guessed them a few times and discovered that the next steps explained why the instructions where the way they were.
The only negative I can say about the unit is that the lowest blower setting is too high and loud. I will likely add some ducts later so that the air isn't blowing on my knee so much.

I'll get some pics soon.pics?
ive never seen one installed in person it looks like it would take up a lot of the passengers floor space do you think it does?I'll get some pics soon.
My challenge right now when it is 95° out it blows cold, but my back sweats horribly with the factory style seats. I'm going to try and tint it better, silicone any gaps, and I might need to attach something to one of the vent ports to redirect it.
