Awesome looking group of rigs there. Superb work on 40.5, that thing is going to be top notch. Hopefully our paths will cross some day once I get my rig on the trail and I can drool over it in person instead of on my keyboard!

Just clownin' with ya bro. I mean, look at MY mud name.

No, i did not modify the bases. I guess i got lucky that the angle was close enough. The signals are new from ccot, and they have a rubber pad under the base so i would think it would be easy to modify the base. I did'nt fool with welding a bracket under the fender to mount them, we cut a sleeve out of 1/2" id tubing @ the angle of the fender on the underside, used a flat washer to the fender, then sleeve, then lock washer and nut. The angle cut of the sleeve was what made it mount vertical. HTH. Are your fenders home brew or Metal tech. They look about the same angle.

After reading the first post i have to admit I thought you were :censor: crazy to cut into what appeared to be a NICE NICE 40.... But damn!!! That rig has turned out even better than before. Very nice work.

Hi Mike,

Noob question here, pardon my ignorance. When you extended the frame to accomodate the 5' box did you have to extend the rear axle location? Or only extended the the lengthe of the frame itself? TIA
