It was a movie then TV series

I remember liking the show because of Dana Carvey :)

And the chopper was cool... Anything with a Gatling gun is cool :meh:

Started a thread in paint and body section which seems like a slow section and searched around the web with no answer. Figure I can ask the question here. Picked up a trailer made from a old truck that the PO painted it with vinyl paint over the factory paint. She told figured it wouldn't stand out as much if it was painted to match the house.:bang: Anyone have a idea of how to soften the vinyl paint so I can either pressure wash it off or use a plastic scraper and save the patina of the original paint. The area under the lip of the bed where the finished would have been better would wash off. The rest not near as easy with the pressure washer. My web search brought up mainly removing vinyl stickers. Think a heat gun and plastic scraper would work without destroying the original paint?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

What kind of paint? The newer crap to paint your vinyl siding, or the old vinyl esther solids stuff that's now banned? Nothing would touch the old stuff except mechanical removal. The vinyl siding stuff should come right off with one of the new crappy wash off paint removers, it's all latex. Shouldn't bother the base coat much if at all of you don't let it sit. Try a small patch and hit it with the pressure washer.

My mistake it's a latex paint. Not sure where I was coming up with vinyl. I might even have some of it in the paint cans that were still in it when I towed it home. Paint is not that old. From what I have figured out so for the trailer was made from a 72-75 Toyota 2WD small pickup. The tail lights and side marker lights have covers in that bed that are easy to removed that have some "LATEX" paint on them. The interior panel on the tailgate was painted as well. Exposed part of the frame is also pained. Not sure if it's way good anymore but have some of that paint remover I've had stored insides for years. Looked still hav it but it says removes latex and oil base paint. Might be a little strong. Going to need to repaint the floor at the very least so I try it on the inside of the tailgate light cover panels are still very clean. Those would be good to use to try and match if I decide to repaint the bed.
