My lift is not complete on my 100 series..I have installed the OME torsion bars and cranked a little...I also have the diff drop installed...

Basically all stock except the above(factory rear locker)...Not enough time to get the rest installed (OME shocks and coils) and set up before tomorrow...Could I still do this trail?

Thanks ahead of time...

It's quite possible...but without sliders/rock rails you might take some dings under the doors. We're gonna be doing some stacking/unstacking to get stock rigs thru in any case.

Dings under doors does not sound promising....:frown: Stock FJC's are making the trip too, they have shorter wheel base but I think I may make it.. They do not look that tall ( ground clearance)...Thanks

HELP! I just found out that the bearing caps on my rear dirveshaft have spun in the yoke, and I can't get it repaired in time for the FJ run. Anyone have an empty right seat? John Bricker

All the new FJ's sold up here came with factory rock rails. I believe they are an option, but every thing they sold had'm along with the rear locker and traction control package.

I have an empty front seat if you want. Mine is a smoke free rig, don't know if that is a problem, I know it would be for some. But I would love to have the company.

The restrictions will remain in effect until forest officials determine that conditions have changed sufficiently to reduce the risk of a human-caused wildfire. Violation of these prohibitions is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000, imprisonment of not more than 6 months, or both.
The public is reminded that day-use and developed recreation sites forest wide will remain open. Awww, guess I'll have to leave the C4 at home.:D

Add another two heads and four wheels to the count...A friend and myself should be there in his good old stock Jeep Cherokee.

We are both looking forward to seeing the FJC in action as well as meeting some new 4x4 friends.

Mind if we tag along...

I'm reaching out to see if I can partner up w/ a spotter. This is my first trip out without a buddy vehicle. Thanks in advance, and I'm really looking forward to meeting some new buds. Oh, and testing out the new locker:D

I plan on being there with the man child...giving mom a break. I don't plan on doing the entire trail but looking forward to seeing all of you...

I'm in for this... been watch the thread mostly on FJForums but figured I'd finally show my face over here.

BTW, Is it rude to ask for some air after the run? I don't have a pump or CO2 setup.

Nah... we'll get ya figured out. Alvin I'll hit ya on the nextel in the AM.

Hmm, I should go to this....that would mean I have to leave in only a couple hours...

Ahh what the heck.....spontaneity at its best!

7:30ish at the Carefree exit? I'll be there then. Might as well get one last stock ride in before I start with the lift project...

Well we didn't make it out due to mechanical issues and poor timing. I hope everyone has a fun and safe time.

Well, good run today guys. Nice to see so many of you out there today, even if I didn't get to see you much. Kevin did you all get through alright??? I hope no one has hurt feelings about the group splitting into two. I think it probably made it more managable in the end.

I would love to get a group run together up the back road to crown king and then through DeSoto mine. Would be a fun run for a "slightly" smaller group ;);)

Did anyone else stop in Cleater for a beer?

Just walked in. Kevin, Sue and I in his 450 and Rob and John in Rob's 80 went up to CK for dinner at Christi's Cafe. Then headed out through Cleator. WHAT A DAY!

I'll post my pics and thought later. It's pillow time now.

yeah BMAN, i was trying to chat on the CB with ya'll, just gettin out of range i guess. tryin to figure if you were gonna head out or go up to CK, now we know.
i had a good short time, missed everyone in the second group but there always another time.
