For the Post Your Questions to Ask:

Can the FJ be drive on 'normal street' with rear door ( spare tire still on) open ?

Basis for ?

Brining home 4x8 plywood sheets requires my FJ60 to be 'open', but short upper gate, and tailgate is no problem....
Just wondering about the weight of the tire on the door (hinges) and bouncing on typical asphalt roads.
 
I registered for this and it said thank you you will be notified about details. Nothing has come from Toyota about details or if I was one of first 600 to enter. How do you, with all great confidence claim you are going . Did you get a follow up from the gods @ Toyota?

1) Not on the internet and is excused since that would indicate he has a life
2) Blowing smoke up our collective arses about the time and place in Greenville
3) Related to soemone high up at toyota and really is the only person in the world who knows the exact time and location of the Greenville extravaganza.

What say you "Alexgar"? For that matter "yournamehear" and "SCJ006" seemed pretty confident too. Are you all salesman and inflate everything by 100%?
 
Maybe since Toyota is marketing through enthusiast groups like TLCA, the Upstate Cruisers already have an invitation, wouldn't be out of the question. BTW- You are not member 38383838 in the TLCA, they're still only in the 5 digits.

Give me a break.

Toyota contacted our club. They wanted to throw an event in greenville. We gave suggestions. They gave us a way to register for the event for club members just like you. We have not gotten a confirmation either. I'm sure it will be comming. He is not your babysitter nor anyone else on the board. I seriously doubt Toyota would rent the peace center out just to screw with us. And I was the first person contacted by Toyotas marketing group for this event. It's real. Be patient. We are waiting just like you. Welcome to the board.
