Dan,

That is nice pic of your rig on ACT article. I can't wait to see more pics.

I have really enjoyed getting to watch you build this rig!! Nice Job.

Man, I have read every page of this thread (while I'm at work no less, I don't have the inter web at home, but not all in one day!!), amazing build dude!!! Great work, damn nice truck. Hope to see it in real life one day.

Its in march 17-20th

Be there damnit!

I've decided to take the time to reread this thread from start to finish, and I gotta say, great work, Dan, you pulled together an impressive rig! This has to be one of the more original builds I've seen, I especially enjoy the fact that you kept Cruiser axles underneath it the whole time, instead of cheating and dropping in Danas or 14's. Great job!

With all of the rain we have been having, I'm getting a little use out of the rig for recovery missions.

1 Tractor and 2 Truck sunday morning. The tractor and 1 truck were simple tow strap extractions. :meh:

This one was a little different. It was flat pouring rain the entire time.

A 4wd diesel F 250 loaded with a partial load Green Valley Oak Firewood.

As I understand it, he was cutting the wood when it began to rain last friday. By the time he got 3/4 of a load it was flat out pouring. He jumped in his truck and headed for the road but instead he slid down a hill and into a ravine. His steps/nerf bars were hung up on stumps. He coulod not more forward or backwards. His tires were spinning and he was going sideways. He walked about a mile to get some cell service and his wife came and picked him up.

The second picture in the above post will show how steep the hill was we were on.

Tires were sliding all over the place. I even tried in 4x4 Hi to try to clean them out but just slid sideways on the hill.

4" x 25' ARB Tow Strap on the rear.

12' Tree Saver around the tree and a 3" 30' ARB tow strap on the rear.

160' double pull (80' from strap) coming out of the Warn 8274

Ruts, just Ruts.

They started at my vehicle which was nosed into the oak tree with the tree saver on it and all the way down over the hill to where his rig was stuck.

Somewhere during the initial pulling with the winch, both of his nerf bars/ running boards came off. The rear mounting brackets actually broke so we had to tie then up with some hay bail rope.

Keeps deleting all of the comments on yours and coberly's trucks

I tagged you in his album...

On Gary's I had commented who built it and what it was then posted a link to the thread and it was deleted 5 times, on yours I did the same twice before I gave up and sent him a message asking why he kept deleting stuff to which he never gave me a straight answer. Then I noticed on the picture of Coberly's he had deleted all the comments from everyone including the ones that he told me were "approved".

He said I could tag people so thats what I did, and that part he has held true on. Just figured if he was gonna show the pics a link to the thread that had info on it would be nice for the builder as well as for people who wanted to know more about the vehicle.
