I know that sounds ludicrous, but what really IS ludicrous is the investment in this restoration, as a whole. Odds are, she'll be a perfect sunny Sunday driver the rest of her life.
I sure am glad you're taking us all for the ride, gonna be really nice to see it done. I think doing the '76 too will give you your resto-mod fix, though I'm sure it's rough on the pocket doing two projects at the same time.

Put all the correct equipment on it, but you're really not going to need ac

At the very least.....it'll look like it works good. ;)

I'm thinking it'll be years from now....

Considering the '76 was completely unplanned....

Hats off to Bob for coming through with the rear sill accurately and expeditiously.

Thank you, sir!

Nice piece of metal work, to say the least.

I'd have taken more pics, but my ninja skills have deteriorated and, after last time, didn't want to concern the crowd or be known as the creepy young man (NOT OLD). Haha.

Really, it was too dang cold and had other pressing issues, but a little progress was noted, primarily a massive amount of time cleaning up the rotted rear door to rocker transition and fabbing new pieces to section into the donors.

Anyhow, Britt commended the work, Bob.

Have to shave a hair off each end to center the jack hole in the notch, otherwise we'd have set it on there, but they were involved in getting a cafe racer tank done, behind due to snow, so I'll stop by later in the week to see how it's sitting.

Think Britt was a little frustrated with the DS interior panel, due to curves around filler and it being 30 degrees in his shop, but the next panel that's being worked on.

Donor is slowly being carved to the bone.
