@McSavage According to the maintenance records I have from the first owner (a ton, by the way), it was cared for till 2001!!! Some time after that it looks like it was man handled. Lol.

So the heat control knob goes in this spot as per my manual, but where does it go and attach to? Does it go threw the firewall in this hole?

I think that cable routes under dash and through the mesh looking plastic blower cover. It should move the flap that allows/ or prevents fresh air through the passenger side louvers. Should be a clip on your duct for that cable. I think there is a metal tab under glove box as well.

The triangular light bolts to lower dash lip, just above heater box control levers. The rectangular light screws in your soft dash pad. I converted both mine to LED. Much brighter and a fraction of the incandescent electrical draw.

Might you have pictures?! And I think you mean the fresh pull knob. It pulls the passenger flap. The heater knob is shorter but I can’t find a place for it an the heater.

Ah! Thank you @thebigredrocker ! I found the part in my extra parts bin! Looks seized. Not to mention all the tubes are gone.. and the holes are jb welded.. lol. The adventures of the Arizona cowboy. Lol

Definately get a new valve if you don’t have extra time to spend. Installing old valve then replacing with a new valve after the leak appears:)

Mounts to the bottom of the dash above the control lever on the heater. Left side, used for heat, vent and defrost.

That is mini truck power steering. Pedestal has been changed. 40 series power steering box uses the same pedestal as the manual box.

ok! ill look. its not so much modified, just a lot of bondo! I'm finding all the holes are still there so far. I know we had talked that it might be replaced but I doubt it very strongly. I'm finding spots of original paint under the bondo.

I finally got the dash sorted. The bondo is off, all the holes are correct, primed and painted. The color isn’t perfect, but it’s the best I could find so I could cover the bare metal. Keep the rust monsters at bay!

Thanks to @HelloKitty65 I found that my rear hitch, front tool box, rear diff cover, and the spare gas can bracket I have with the cruiser all originally come from the con-ferr catalog!! Ill ad pics tonight.
