Most of the time I use my plasma cutter to burn out the spot welds in a panel so that I can remove it. Found these Spot weld cutters on-line and decided to give them a try. They worked well.

Used Zero-Rust inside the bottoms of each door to keep it from rusting out ever again. The passenger door was nearly rust free and no repairs needed. A good coating of POR-15 will go inside the door bottoms on top of the Zero-Rust prior to reassembly of all the new door components. I have all new components such as the window regulator, channel felts, windows seals, door weatherstripping, door cards, handles, etc, waiting to be installed.

Great job! Refreshing to see getting at things without absolute perfection being the goal! Many builds have this hurdle!

Thanks. Decided to leave the patina on the truck as a whole but still take care of the rust issues as much as I can without taking the cab off the frame for now. A few holes in the drivers floor but nothing too worry about for now. Wanna be able to take this truck off road and not worry so much about scratches or dings like with my other 40's.

That’s the goal! To actually be able use them. Not to have something in the garage worth so much money and restored to such a high level that I'm afraid to actually use lot for it’s intended purpose.
