If I saw that thing sitting on a car lot, it would be mine in less than 30 seconds. And then I would bring it home and my boyfriend would kill me! Wow...I'd love to have a Troopie.

How come all the good ones have the steering wheel on the wrong side.

I looked at it when it was first listed and thought that I would like to have it. A younger brother to the pig and 40.I figured it would go for way more than it did. I put my bid in at $2850 and figured someone would outbid me. Someone dput iin one at $2500 about 3 days ago. I figured thats the end of me. I kept watching and no activity. One hour to go-still mine-somebody is going to swipe it-NOPE-I WIN! was I ever surprised. It is @ wimberly 4wd in Texas. I have talked to them before and they seem like good guys. It may need the transfer rebuilt. It turns over and tries to run but won't quite start. may be air in fuel. the tub is solid inside with some rust in sill and quarters.
    Plans
    rebuild tub
switch to LHD-I have an 80 cowl
as for engine?????????? I have a new h55/split case that could go in it with a 305tpi-but I really like toyota diesels - maybe another 1hz?
Gota finish the pig so I got about a year to think about it.

    Congratulations.

Have it shipped to Posers place and he can rebuild the Trans for ya. (For some extra coin he can probably put the steering wheel on the left hand side as well.) Have a tune up done on it and then drive the beast to VT.

I saw that and thought it was a good deal. But the who title thing sounded a little sketchy. Let us know what happens.
