Sorry for being a no-show Saturday morning, contrary to my plan. Overnite Friday there was a medical issue flare up with my wife and we found ourselves in the ER at oh-dark-thirty. We didn't get home until around noon. Everything's fine once again.

Gary, can I get your cell phone #. I could have called or texted Saturday am.

Glad everything worked out Vince. Other priorities took me away too. Catch you next time.

Well Sandy and I arrived on Saturday about 7:45 to a quiet sleeping group. I think Bob and Felix were trying to fix a steering link and Greg was moving around a little. At about 9:15 or so I met with Tony from NY in his FJ and we took off on the "Green" roads. I have to say that I was suprised looking at the road and thinking "Green" for stock vehicles. Anyway, Tony took us on everyone of the green roads and we did a few fun runs through some 12" puddles and up and down some holes. I was a bit scared for 50% of the time thinking something would fall off or break on the 45 year old FJ40 but somehow it ran perfectly and only a few pounds of mud and grit to show for it. We finished up about 3pm and everyone was gone from the camping area. We waited a short time and decided to head back. I'm sorry I did not get to share the Woodridge or the beer that I brought along but it will be consumed just the same. I'll have to try again with you all but just start later and stay later. Very nice to meet you on Saturday. On those roads for 6 hours I never saw one from the club, only jeeps... anyway, nice to get to try out Rausch Creek.

Dennis- sorry I didn't get to meet you and see your 40, greg said it was quite the speciman. I had to turn back on my way to the park to get some parts from my garage for felix' truck otherwise I'd have been there early. Check out the video Paul made, it's on the Fall Crawl blurb of the Capital City website- he did quite well with a stock 40. Impressive and cool stuff.

Must say we had two very good days of wheeling. Small group each day and that usually makes for a good day. Enjoyed watching Paull from MD muscle his stock topless 40 around Rausch Creek- he did qute well and I know his ass was dragging when the day's wheeling was done. Weather was just about perfect couldn't have asked for anything better. We missed ya Saturday Vince, glad to hear that hopefully now all is well and you got through your overnight medical issue. I will send you my cell # in a PM.

Dennis, glad to hear you had fun! The Virginia guys are a great crew but they aren't exactly known for their punctuality. The Keystone cruisers are a bit more on time especially if Greg and Gary are leading the charge!

Sorry to be the cause of Saturday's delay, but I sure appreciate everyone's help. Dennis, I can confirm you were there! And that your 40 is a beautiful truck!

Yeah, this is a true statement. But, we are getting better... we were out before 11 each day. I am shooting for 10AM at CMCC.
Funny enough, we were packed up and out of the parking lot before 0930 on Sunday... We need to look at our priorities.
