Well Red, the cat has held up really well, his name is now button, before that it was just cat. My daughter picked out that name when she moved home after getting her Bachelors degree. And in short order after naming him, she made up her mind that the best place for her "new" cat to live, was inside MY HOUSE. It's a really good thing i love my daughter, because as far as I'm concerned, the best place for a shop cat to live, is OUTSIDE in my shop.

As far as your offer to work by 10% of the worlds fresh water. I'm afraid I'd be a VERY bad influence on you. I'd be wanting to go bass fishing all summer long, then deer, duck, and pheasant hunting in the fall, then after that I'd be wanting to go ice fishing for pike in the winter.
We do have bass fishing but most people prefer fishing for walleyes or Northern Pike or Muskies. I am an inland Lake Trout man, myself, but all you need is a rod and some baits and to choose the type of lake or river you want to fish. I am about ten minutes from some world class steelhead and other big lake salmonoid fishing and I am two minutes from good bass fishing on the St. Louis River.

I am in Billings Park, which is a nice area in Superior, near the river and the lake, and a whole lot of nothing in the way of human development(we also have some serious human development, I think Superior has the world's largest ore dock and there is a ton of other massive equipement due to the fact that it is a major port(s).) We have wolves, bear, moose, deer, all sorts of birds, etc. living in that municipal forest, which is 500 yards from my front door.

You can hunt deer in the SMF with a bow and the bays are open to duck and goose hunting. Also plenty of turkeys and other shootable birds if you are into that sort of thing.

Come on up!

Dam Red, where you live truly sounds like a sportsmen paradise, I'm jealous. Later tonight I've got to finish working on my old pre Garcia Mitchell 300 spin casting reel that my father gave me in 1963. I'm going to lube the bearings, and install some new 15 pound test spiderwire to get it ready for bass fishing this summer.

It's pretty awesome.

I love those old reels. I have a bunch of old Abu-Garcia rods that I still prefer over many of the more modern options.

New to this site and also lucky enough to be owner of 2021 Model. Last vehicle on bucket list. I’m in search for bracket to mount the hidden winch behind factory bumper. Local highly regarded shop tells me they cannot locate one. I found one for 200 series thru 2016 but not sure that will work. I’ve looked and looked including for 2020. Nada! Anyone know whether a 2016 mount will work or where I might find the mount?

The harbor freight generic mount works well. I made a thread with what I did. If you want, I can dig it up.

I would be grateful if you could. It will help me order the right part and also to give the local installer a head start. Thank you!

If you used an M8000 or similar it would be much less trouble.

I agree, with the limited space behind the factory bumper ,and below the stock trans cooler location. Installing a winch that doesn't have a tall crossover bridge like whats on the XD9000I makes the installation a whole lot simpler.
