factory a/c radiator vs. non a/c

In addition to the width difference (which can be made up with fab'ing some flanges to bolt on and span the extra u-channel width)
I believe the hoses will not quite line up correctly on the bottom. I'm using a gates hose that I trimmed. Mine
has a narrower U channel and narrower radiator but A/C other parts (see my build). @fjc-man has your exact situation
with a wide u-channel and narrow radiator.

I used the Gates hose #21851 trimmed to fit as you did. Here it is compared to the stock lower hose (16571-61071) & installed for a test fit.

This is my current set-up with the radiator that needs to be replaced. Poor picture, but you can see some of the aluminum spacer bar used to retrofit it into the larger space. Still has the original size shroud. Hopefully the non ac radiator drops into this solution. @S.CarolinaFZJ80 can I assume you’ve had no cooling issues?

It looks like yours is offset using just one adapter plate?

No cooling issues yet but then again it really hasn't run like this.
Still a garage queen and needs some more work before hitting the road.

However, It was cooling fine with the previous narrow radiator that was hodgepodged & stretched into the wider channel.

I replaced the old radiator due to leaking & the mounting tabs separated from the rad.

Thanks. Two adaptor plates, with the narrower plate of the driver side

Went in just fine, lined up well. Will report back if I run into cooling issues, but this radiator is much thicker than the cheapo aluminum one i pulled out.

Looks much better than the aluminum rad. Only an enthusiast would know the difference from a factory air radiator
