I am trying to order up the clips that secure the inside window felt and outside weather strip.

I am hoping those clips play nice w/ felt strips from JC Whitney that do not have the predetermined indentations in place.
Any chance anyone could estimate the number of clips req'd to affix the felts to all doors plus tailgate?
If I were not seperated from my Pig, I would count myself. But I am away from Pig (and sad)

four on each door if it's early model. possibly five on the front doors with no vents

If I read correctly, it would be 5 per side (inside and outside) per late model front door = 20 total for front doors without wing windows.
Plus 4 per side, per door = 16 clips for both rear doors.
Plus 10 for the inside felt on tailgate equals 46 clips total plus 14 plastic pins for the external weatherstrip on tailgate.
Like I say, I hope those clips work well with replacement window felts from JC Whitney or Restoration Specialties.

No, I have not checked for availability or anything. I think I have enough of the metal clips lying around (spare doors etc.) to satisfy my needs.
here are shots of the plastic pins for the external rubber. it takes 14, but get a couple extra cause they can break pretty easy

late model front door 68150-90352 and 68160-90352
early model front doors 68150-90351 (same left and right)
You are right Ige, clips were sold with felts.
According to C-Dan, the felts are unobtanium...
