got mine out, thought it broke, had to really pull on the :censor: thing... somehow I thought I was going to find a second glove box down there:crybaby:

Let's sidetrack this thread and turn it into the whose got the dirtiest cupholder thread and freak out all the ocd people.

A mix of coffee, tea with milk, soda and sand... Yummy. I have half a mind of sticking a hose in there and letting water flow through for an hour. Probably better to go with brake cleaner

I thought this was a real secret compartment I didn't know about. Doesn't look very useful.

Sounds like something someone would say that could't get their cup holder out. :p

At the moment, I have one of these in the driver door pocket:

And I have this in the rear (next to our BOB stroller):

I sourced the following OEM parts through a Toyota dealership in the UK for the left side tailgate space: Warning Triangle (P/N: PZ49S-00EC0-EU) and Hi-Visibility Safety Jacket (P/N: PZ49S-00EB0-EU). I also purchased a Spare Bulb Kit H16-1 (P/N: 90981-YZZJ1) from them that I'm stowing next to the bottle jack [incidentally, I also have the Toyota (US spec) First Aid Kit (P/N: PT420-03023) kept in the door to the jack compartment].

As I said in a previous post, it's unlikely that I'll use these things, but I wanted to include OEM accessories in my reasonably stock rig. The aforementioned Vanquest and Maxpedition bags hold the EDC gear and tools.

Came today.....there is a a lower piece also which is the same "gun sleeve" size as the middle row. Attaches w/a strip of velcro all the way
across. There would be some interference with the wheel well, so decided to leave it off for now.

Still playing with what fits where, but overall for $130, it solves a lot of storage problems. Keeping first aid kit, tire repair stuff, jumper cables,
towels, tools, etc etc.

Going to play w/the mounting a little more, but -0- rattles.

Here's the link again. I purchased at LL Bean - had a credit w/them, but also sold at Amazon + a bunch of other places.

Man, that is great!

Quick update.....So it's installed & LC parked in my garage last night. Go out this AM, and a strong odor
of what I can only describe as a solvent smell was in the car.

The fabric has evidently been treated with a water repellent something. Took the case out to air for a while....
either the smell dissipates or plan B - return to sender. Other than that, great unit.

I bet it will go away. Weathertechs are notorious for doing the same thing.

For health and safety requirements in Iraq I made a metal false floor that they could put their tools and weapons under and incase of roll-over won't go flying through the cabin

I came up with a concoction to clean that spot under the cup holder. Brake cleaner + silicone-wd-40 + carpet/upholstery cleaner :p
DSC01603.JPG

See squeaky clean

And what do you call this new-fangled concoction?

Keep the upholstery cleaner as a secret ingredient and since it has Brake cleaner and Silicone wd-40... I'll name it BS-cleaner the only cleaner you'll ever need! Invest now in BS LLC this company's going to be a hit!!!

Can it be used for (cough) personal purposes?
