what are people using the empty storage spot in teh tailgate for, any good ideas, it's super small, extra tools etc?

Interesting idea. I'll have to check that area.
Tire plug kit, rags, surf wax, fin key and emergency flask. My wife has been driving my old LX470 while I've been driving a Tundra Crew Max for the past couple of years. I became a pack rat with all the storage that Tundra had. I forgot about the lack of storage the LC has. I'm sure glad my cd's, pens and business cards will stay cold with the new cooler box they added in place of the cd changer!

that's funny I"ve been driving a tundra crew max for the last 2 years also, that glove box was almost too big, I lost stuff in there at times, storage everywhere, the lc200 has almost no storage, but it's so much nicer of a rig I let it slide

There is actually a Toyota factory case that goes in the rear tail gate. It holds a traffic triangle and gloves.

I figured there had to be something that goes in there, guess for 76k ya don't get the triangles and the gloves
Do you have a P/N for that set? It appears to be unobtainium in the US of A
Sorry but I didnt see a part number anywhere on the case. It was from a higher option AXG right hand drive that is now somewhere in Pakistan.
Next time I get one here at the factory I will and recheck for a part number and post it.

Whereas my 4Runner serves my modification addiction, I'm trying to focus those same energies in keeping the LC as reasonably stock as possible...
Anyway, in the interest of thoroughness I'd like to in locate the Toyota Warning Reflector and First Aid Kits that go in the areas as specified in the owners manual. I presume this may require looking outside of the states but any p/n or other info toward that end is much appreciated.
