Easily Removable Radiator Sealer

Anyone suggest a good way to seal my radiator edges to provide for more sealed airflow? My aftermarket aluminum radiator doesn't seal all that great. Pretty well, but not perfect. Maybe I should try foam or something? 1991 FJ80 - 3FE

I have used foam from Amazon that you peel and stick to the radiators parameters.

Long ago I had mentioned adding adhesive weather strip to the fan shroud to seal it against the radiator and aid in air flow through the coils.
I have been doing a bunch of catch up maintenance to prepare for the Rubithon next month, so today was belts, hoses, thermostat, coolant, assorted other things, and some more things.
Anyway, here is a picture of the fan shroud after cleaning it up and adding new foam.
Pay no attention to the broken top tabs and the transfer case hiding in the back.

you want foam and you don't want it easily removable or else it's going to fall off. there is a Toyota genuine lower radiator foam for 4 runners that works great on the bottom very thick, for the top and sides you can use hardware store foam.

Amazon or McMaster Carr sells a peel and stick adhesive foam for our application. If you have overheating issues, this is probably not the reasons why you are overheating, but for increase in inefficiency, probably not a bad idea.

For around the radiator ie: between the radiator and the body/radiator supports: IME closed cell neoprene foam HVAC/AC weatherstripping works well, found at any hardware store. You'll need to experiment with various sizes to see which fits depending on the size of the gap(s). The closed cell is more dense than the original foam so it doesn't compress (or absorb water) as easily as the original foam which is why there's some trial and error based on the size of the gap and the thickness of the foam. There are silicone foam sealing "tapes" that have a higher temp rating but are more expensive.

Post up a couple of photos showing the gaps you're concerned about.
