@JohnnyC Can you check the fiche and see if the lever and column collar are included with the part? It's shown in the CruiserCorps picture, but my local dealer doesn't think it's included. (I'm on hold with them now)

@SouthBostonFJ40 did you end up purchasing this? If so could you confirm if P/N 84310-60021 comes with both the column collar lever and switch? Thx

Yes, everything is included.

Looks like only 84310-60022 is still available, but mine just showed up from http://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com/ for $67. Yeay it has
all the parts, top collar, bottom switch, post that goes between them and the turn signal
lever. You do have to watch out some sites charge more and only give you the top collar and lever and not the bottom part but use the same part number.

I have couple of questions.
1. Does the switch have bullet connectors or a single plug?
2. On the collar at the top does it have the two spring loaded levers that cancel the turn signal switch when you turn the wheel the other way.

A picture would also be nice to see for sure what is all included.

Wires are bullet and the spring loaded cancel levers.

Thank you. Need to pick one or two of these up. One of the common problems is the spring the cancel lever are gone and need to manually move the lever back to the center. The 70 in my avatar has the cancel problem.

Curious if the one that is NLA has the plug. Most years had the bullet connectors, 71/72 used a plug? My 68's wiring was all messed up when I bought it back in 74. With no wiring diagram to work from figuring out how to rewire the switch was fun. Can't mess plug up unlessyou take it apart.

Awesome deal. I got mine in today. Paid a little more but supported a forum member @beno.

the "does-not-cancel" symptoms can also be due to a sheared post on the steering wheel or too much space between the steering wheel and the switch lever assembly - and if only one side cancels and not the other, it means that the switch needs to be rotated slightly on the steering column to perfectly line up to the canceling post on the back of the steering wheel

I need to do a little more research on my 70 to be sure the reason it doesn't cancel the switch. Could be the missing pin on the steering wheel or the lever too far down the column. I do know on my 68 is the springs missing both levers. It can be dangerous with them floating loose. Use the turn signals only to have the wheel lock when starting to turn it the other way. At that point you need to turn the wheel slightly in the other direction and manually move the turn signal handle to the middle. Figured that one pretty quick just like not wrapping my thumbs around the steering wheel while off road. Hit a rock and manual steering spins the wheel hitting your thumbs on the spokes.

I do notice the replacement switch the handle is painted black and not a chrome like finish on the pot metal.

Toyota went to the plug on the turn signal switch after 9/71 ie on the 72 model year. My 2/71 also does not cancel but it is missing a part. When I get to that part of my build I will figure it out.
