The part the tire bolts to? Yes, in 1964 and in 1965 too. But by at least 1972, they were pewter (shown).

And here are the rear barn door finished !!! With the help of cruiser works corner parts
 
Still don’t understand why the low hinge don’t fit.. .doors are original and seems there is a 5 mm difference betwwen 64 and others....
